The funeral of Margaret is taking place on 30th June at 9.30 at City Road. I presume it will be cremation and afterwards there will be a wake, details will follow.

Unfortunately I won’t be able to go as I am away from Sheffield that day but needless to say she will be in my thoughts.

Lynn has been doing some detective work regarding Margaret’s funeral and it seems it could take up to 2 months to sort everything out but when the time comes, it will be announced in the Star by the hospital.

I have also heard from Edale Mountain Rescue team and they have the same information as us.

I am sad to report that Margaret passed away on Friday in Hospital. I only found out myself because she hadn’t been answering her phone, so I went to see her at home on Wednesday and her neighbour told me she was in hospital then I got a message on Friday evening from the neighbour. At the moment I know nothing as regards funeral arrangements.

Sorry I won’t be coming on any walks in the near future due to having an op on my foot. Hoping it will only be weeks not months until I join you again.

Before Christmas I became a Grandma again (only 23 years between granchildren) so was busy cuddling Caitlan.

See you soon
